ALFRED SAUCEDO

Alfred Saucedo, 75, of Riverside, California, passed away on April 14, 2025. He was
born on June 24, 1949.
Alfred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and servant of
God, known for his kind heart, quiet strength, and deep love for his family. He shared 57
wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Inez Saucedo, whom he married on
March 30, 1968.
Alfred proudly served in the United States Navy from January 9, 1968, to January 9,
1974, including active duty and reserve service—a reflection of his dedication,
discipline, and commitment to his country.
He also faithfully served as a minister, sharing the gospel in communities throughout
California—including Pomona, Hesperia, Colton, Bakersfield, and Santa Barbara—as
well as in countries across South America, such as Colombia and Chile. His ministry
touched countless lives and reflected his lifelong devotion to faith and service.
He is survived by his wife Inez, his daughter, Lena Marie Ochoa, her husband, Sid Ochoa, and their
son, Nathaniel James Ochoa; his son, Augustin Saucedo, and his children, Clorissa
Directo, her husband, William Directo, and their daughters, Natalia Rae Directo and
Elizabeth Grace Directo; his son, Jacob Saucedo; his daughter, Lena Rai Saucedo; his
mother-in-law, Jennie Arias; his 8 siblings: Ray Saucedo, Linda Saucedo Boulais,
Carmelita “Carm” Duarte, Stephanie “Steph” Saucedo, Dennis “Dio” Saucedo, Denise
Dagley, Kath Saucedo-Friend, Virginia “Virg” Burroughs.
A lifelong resident of Riverside California, Alfred built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and
generosity. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his legacy
will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025. A private service will be held by the
family.
