RAY MICHAEL LANDEROS

Ray Michael Landeros, 64, passed away in Huntington Beach, California on February 11, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1959 in Lakewood, California to Ray Richard Landeros and Lynne Anne Sparks. He attended Monrovia High School in Monrovia, California and Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. 

He has been a resident of Orange County for the past 42 years. A talented artist, Ray could draw, paint, and sculpt. He was an avid surfer that rode the waves all along the Newport and Huntington Beach coastlines. 

He is survived by his mother Lynne Tooley, step father Richard Tooley, sister Chrissy Schelbauer, brothers Reynaldo Ricardo Landeros and Salvador Landeros, step sisters Debra Carcano and Kathy Pratt, and nieces and nephews Alek Schelbauer, Aubrey Schelbauer, Jake Schelbauer, Reynaldo Joaquin Landeros and Freddie-Jean Landeros. 

He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Lynne Landeros in 1990, father Ray R. Landeros in 2017, and step brother Michael Tooley in 2022.

Ray was a kind and gentle soul. A deep thinker, Ray could start a thought-provoking conversation, and finish with humorous banter. He will be missed by all his family, all his friends, and everyone who knew him.

Memorial service will be on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Akes Family Funeral home at 2:30PM in Riverside, California.
