CLARENCE HARPER, passed away in El Monte, California Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the age of 76 years. A California native, he was born April 15, 1935 in Blythe, the son of Orba and Ora (Morgan) Harper.
Clarence served our country in the United States Army, during the Korean War. He loved driving truck, and was a life long truck driver. Clarence was a very active person, he coached little league baseball for several years, in Baldwin Park and worked with the El Monte Dial A'Ride.
Loving father of, David Harper, Diane Thorougman, Dennis J. Harper, Amy P. Harper, Sean Harper and Traci Poehl. Devoted grandfather of, 9 grandchildren. Also survived by his caregiver, Angie Rico.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in Akes Family's "Chapel of The Chimes", 9695 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, CA, with Rev. O.J. Philpot, officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. Friends are asked to gather in assembly area no.6.
